Big lunch for the weekend

Entrées: hummus and "pico de gallo" (onion, tomato and coriander).

Main dish: "arròs al forn" (rice in the oven with potatoes, chick peas and paprika). Dessert: pumpkin sponge cake.

  1. quane ns veiem t'he de preguntar dubtes sobre l'hummus! ahh..i aquest pumpkin cake ja m'estars passant la recepta que te una pinta que flipes!

  2. Pumpkin cake.

    Ingredients:
    Pumpkin - maybe 700 gr.
    Eggs - x3
    Sugar - 4 soupspoons
    Wheat - approx 150 gr
    Baking powder - small bag
    Milk (or water) - 300 ml
    Butter - 75 gr
    Salt - a little bit

    How to cook:
    Boil the pumpkin in big pieces until it is kinda soft (25 to 30 minutes).
    Mix the pumpkin with all the other ingredients together with the electric whisk.
    Grease the cake tin with butter.
    Put the mix in the tin into the oven at 180 deg for 45 minutes approximately (until when sticking a knife in the cake it comes out clean, or almost clean).
    Leave it cool and eat with lots of eager (otherwise it won't be that good).
